it's the end of a working week! be happy! =)

i find myself waking up to fabulous moods on typical fridays.
xiao pang also said today that i seemed to be in a really good mood when she came over to the hub and met me for lunch.

i think the current me knows better how to enjoy work challenges.
in fact, i'm beginning to find my job really satisfying and fulfilling!

perhaps i'm sick in the brain. or in the ass maybe? haa!
i seem to be much more motivated when i get all busy.
now, i already have my own task queue. =)
i set my own priorities and i decide when the deadlines fall due.

somewhat, that makes me feel that i've moved an informal level up the hierarchy, though strictly speaking, this isnt happening at all since there's no one below me.

i worked almost 12 hours today and eventually ended work @ 840pm.
still, i left the hub feeling happy. and VERY satisfied.

as a application consultant, my work is full of challenges.
i work with hundreds of users, thousands of programs and millions of lines of program codes.
every single task involve problem-solving and there is never just one fixed way to get things done. =)

i sure hope i can stay as motivated for a long time to come!

but sadly, i just read this one piece of article via Yahoo! news.
do you know that civil servants are most likely getting a pay cut soon?
if that does happen, the private sector is likely to follow suit and cut bonuses as well as increments!

i have been so looking forward to my first bonus throughout the past 8 months.
now, i wonder if i really will have any. *boo hoo!*
