there goes my first day @ work.

it was boring. totally mundane.
spent half the day following my HR in-charge around the BIG BIG BIG hub to have my ID Passcard (aka access card) made and collect my brand new HP labtop.

sadly, while it may be brand new, my 2-year-old ancient Toshiba labbie seems to work better.

and guess what? i cannot even download IE 7 because our company portal runs on version 6.

WHAT THE HELL?

i thought i work in an IT firm?!
why such a backward platform???!!!

argh.
i hate having to open multiple windows.
that sucks.

my immediate superior was busy with meetings the entire day.
so i only managed to meet her for a quick lunch.

talking about food... ...

i can almost feel that my BIG butt has expanded an inch.

i had a heavy lunch.
curry katsu don @ the food court in AMK Hub.
3 colleagues drove the 9 of us there.
oh by the way, this is the first time i dined in the food court after making like 10, 000 movie trips to the hub with baby throughout the past 2 months.

i have some pictures of my work area.

my desk is relatively huge, in comparison to admin and probably some finance people located on the same floor.
i need some good decoration ideas.

baby says the first thing i should have is a picture of us.

in actual fact, i had wanted to set a super-duper-nice picture (taken @ Singapore Flyer site) of baby and i as my desktop wallpaper.
then, i had some second thoughts.

what if some colleagues were to ask who baby is?
should i just say she's my "best friend"?
(oh yar, a best friend who makes out with me almost everyday. LOL~)

or say that she's my sister?
(no no! the company has my bio data! they will know that i no longer have a sister!)

how about a god-sister?

hmmm.

what to do?

baby is gonna show up at my workplace sooner or later.
i demanded for her to pick me up from work this coming friday.
well well well, should i just come clean and make it clear that i have a girlfriend?
NO!
something tells me it is not a good idea.

sigh~

workplace discrimination is bound to exist.

i know i will have more time for blogging activities tomorrow.
