it's just another day.
i have just completed some preliminary research on
Joost - yet another
internet on-demand
tv.
anyway, it seems to be quite a good source of online entertainment based on various reviews which have been conducted.
but somehow, i seem to have problem utilizing it 100%. something about the desktop client is confusing me.
had 12 hours of sleep from 3am this morning till 3pm. woke up, had two tuition sessions, earned probably 100 bucks or so, then came back and worked and printed till now.
im printing so much this semester. the cartridge bro just bought 2 days ago is now 1/4 empty.
gosh. you know how much that is?
oh by the way, i am apparently EXTREMELY fearful of having to attend school. seem to have problems getting to sleep peacefully on days before school.
anyway, caught S-Pop on
tv late at night on
monday when i simply
couldnt sleep.
stephanie sun was featured, and i totally fell in love with one of her songs that fateful night - 我怀念的. it sounds wonderful. how could i have missed it?
indeed, as one of her teachers commented, she sounded so feminine, like a lady who's been through all the worst things that can ever happen to a relationship.
LOL.
on the same night, i chanced upon the blog of local artiste -
felicia chin.
the one thought that ran through my mind while i was browsing through her entries was: she is indeed as young as i am. and people of my generation and all those who came after speak, write and read in
SINGLISH. good or bad?
i am switching from listening to mp3s to listening to radio programmes these days. oh
yar, one of my students LOVE using "these days" in her composition nowadays, ever since i introduced this phrase to her. she is using it so intensively that i find myself slashing all the "these days" in her recent composition/summary assignments.
doesnt "recently" share the same meaning? sigh~
back to radio programmes. was listening to class 95 this evening and the discussion seem to be on what makes a "good" relationship. then there was this saying: "a good relationship beings out the best in two people".
i pondered.
does my relationship bring out the best in me?
one thing for sure, i have learnt how to wait and postpone and in all sense be more patient.
FeLFeL, I AM MORE PATIENT OKAY! I AM NO MATTER WHAT OBJECTIONS YOU HAVE! =)
but in all other senses, i have became lazier, fatter, gloomier, moodier etc etc etc. what is happening?
am i bringing out the best in the other person?
FeLFeL has
quited gambling and definitely became much more patient and tolerant. well, i know it's not easy to put up with me at times. i am mean. this i know.
sigh~
what makes a good relationship for you?
was talking to buddy a couple of days ago on "new year resolutions", and i suddenly started to recall how many years it has been since i set any. i used to create a list each year and paste them at some prominent places in my room. suddenly, i stopped this good habit.
i remember visiting buddy's parents last CNY. it has been a year. how time flies? as i sit back and think bout the past year, it seems i have achieved NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
why am i like this?
i am already turning 24. i've reached a point whereby i can no longer claim that i am in my early 20s. that is scary. and it is even scarier to know that i have achieved nothing except a degree from a reasonable institution. what else?
pal-the-2nd is becoming a mum soon. is that an achievement? what about me? am i supposed to have a baby so as to add on to my achievements list?
wong called last night. we had a short conversation that lasted 30 mins or so. he mentioned about visiting US together. i said that will only be achievable after i start to work. how sad? i dont even have the ability to visit a faraway place.
well well well, i'm not being depressed here, folks. just some thoughts to share. =)
good night, world.
