My internet was down for the whole of yesterday. So this has gotta be a long post manZ. Anyway, i woke up damn late on Vesak Day, and i was almost late for the date with GaB. Arranged to meet at 1pm, but i only woke up at 1pm! That's the result of not setting any alarm! Slept for solid 12 hours i think! Damn shiok!~
So when i woke up at 1pm, the first thing i did was to check if i have any missed calls larz. Luckily there wasnt! So i took my own sweet time to bathe and make up. It was already 145 when i got all ready. Suddenly, just when i was about to turn on my lab top to go online while waiting for GaB (who is usually late cos of the bad traffic in BKK), the phone in my apartment rang. Scared-ed me for a second manz! Why would anyone call me?? LOL~ It turned out that it was GaB who got the receptionnist to call me.
GaB said that in actual fact, he had reached perfectly on time yesterday. He tried to ring me up but somehow, he just couldnt get through my phone. (I attribute it to the poor telecom infrastructure! Nothing's wrong with my hp! I can call out lehz and it still has sufficient value!) So in the end, he went for a haircut before walking to my apartment from the office to get the receptionist to call me LoR.
Anyway, i met GaB's ex-bf yesterday. Hmmm... To think that GaB so handsome also, i didnt imagine his ex will look like... mmmm..."THAT". Not even 1% handsome loR! And you know what? They were together for 4 YeARS lehz! Then that guy (Bing) left GaB for a girl who is also RICH (but ugly) and will buy him stuffs. Till today, after GaB and Bing have broken up for 5-6 months, GaB is still paying for EVERYTHING when he goes out with bing. I dont understand why manz?! But from what i can see, Bing deems it naturally correct for GaB to pay! He did NOT even VOULNTEER to pay for ANYTHING! Not any drink, not any fruits they bought at a supermarket, not the movie tickets, not the dinner, not the cab fare! NOTHING!
I mean, on the overall, i think Bing is an okay guy, but his attitude towards r/s and money sooooooo turn me off! As if he dates for money! Yes, he is not born wealthy! So am i! That does not mean r/s become the tool for him to get the material stuffs he wants and not needs.

I spent ALOT of money yesterday. And i didnt buy anything. Everything was just so ex in town! My one BK lunch cost me 190 baht loR! (9.50 SGD) And two packets of Tim Tum from the supermarket cost me 70 abht. (3.50SGD) And then the movie tic alone cost 170 baht. (8.50 SGD) Then there's still the cab fare to and fro town - 150 baht (7.50SGD)! And lastly, a strawberry soda (80 baht) i had while GaB and Bing ate their dinner at this restaurant. (4 SGD)
So altogether, i spent 33SGD! That's why i didnt want to have any dinner at the restaurant! Too ex liaoz. Sigh~ Life is difficult manz.
I have forgotten what the english name of this flower is, but it is called"ox's face" in thai. I tried examining it from different angles but no matter how hard i tried, i cant seem to convince myself that it can actually relate to an ox! FuNNy~
During my trip to Siam Paragon (
Yes, it's paragon again! My third time there! =( ), i saw this auction which is part of Thai's annual national arts festival. They're always having events huh? Rem the cute character i showed in previous post along with a candid shot of WonG's mum?
That was at siam paragon as well. Anyway, i saw some traditional thai dance staged. The dancers werent really pretty. Chey~

Anyway, because of recent internal as well as external attacks resulting from political instability and terrorism, now almost every shopping centre have TIGHT security measures in place. Take Siam paragon for example, there are security checks at EACH AND EVERY ENTRANCE of the shopping centre. You even have to walk through "scanners" like those we have in Changi Airport to detect if you carry weapons or something! And when your handbag is substantially large, it needs to be checked.
The 3rd storey of paragon sells FerraRi! Weird heh!? In a shopping mall???

There are also outlets of BMW and erm...another famous brand which i cant remember liaoz...
Movie theatre where i caught Pirates of the Carribean 3. DiDi kept saying Thai cinemas will be damn "lok-kok", but it turned out very fine! Just that the theatres themselves are actually not very big, somehow like those we have in JuBiLee.
There's one DAMN DAMN DAMN funny thing about catching a movie in Thailand.
5 mins before the shoe started and 10 mins after movie trailers have started screening, i was suddenly asked by GaB to stand up from my seat.
I: Why???
GaB: To show respect for our king.

LOL! LOL! LOL! A sorta "MTV" by the king was actually screened! OMG! Damn weird loR! The MTV featured how the king travelled great distances to help the poor thai people in rural parts of thailand, how people of different religions actually benefited and all the people just keep smiling and smiling in the MV. Anyway, this reminds me of marketing. Wah, the Royal family in Thai really practises excellent marketing!
Erm. Thai has got to be the only country which practise this.
Because it was a public holiday, the cinema was damn damn damn packed. Anyway, let me share with you one interesting fact about BKK>>>
Traffic jams are NOT expected during holidays, because most people stay home and out of the roads. So it'll be wiser to take a cab on a holiday!
Weekends are excluded i suppose, because so far, i've been a victim of traffic congestion in BKK during the weekends.

I almost puked when i gulped it down without testing if it's too sweet at first! I added like 100ml of water to 100ml of green bean soup.
While SG has well-built benches along our streets, especially along orchard road, these are the ones BKK have! LOL^-^
I think thais are damn entrepreneurial larZ! Just bring your sewing machine to somewhere along the street and there you are - The boss of your own sewing business!!! CooL huhZ?
