Gosh! I definitely escaped a disaster!
Phew~ I'm back in my nicey and comfortable apartment in BKK. Like i-supposed-i-have-mentioned, i was originialluy scheduled to stay over at Rayong tonight. Luckily i didnt have to in the end!
Anyway, i left BKK this morning at 9am with the company's driver and made my way to Rayong. I slept throughout most of the 2.5hr mini-bus ride, but woke up at some point when the driver stopped at a petrol kiosk to replenish the vehicle's fuel to grab myself some food. Ate A&W! The curly fries as well as Root Beer Float. Hmmm~ I wonder why A&W retreated from SG's market years ago. What went wrong? I guess it's still much welcomed. Business idea? Franchise maybe? LOL~
Anyway, after i finished eating my brunch on the mini-bus, i continued sleepin all the way till i reached Rayong which is like thousands of miles away. In actual fact, i take about 2hr to travel to school as well, so a 2hr trip to Rayong shouldnt really be that horrible somehow. Perhaps because trips to school require me to change from a bus to train, then walk some distance from NEL to the east-west line, and subquently change from the train to a bus, the journey isnt that BORING as having to sit still for 2 solid hours. Maybe~
Had a freakin tiring day! I'm like dying. May just drop dead any moment. I "talked" to soooooooo MANY people, with the help of Nuu (an IT guy who once studied in AU) who acted as my "personal translator" when it came to conversations with thais who knows no english. Collected quite a number of documents which i may need for the system analysis process as well, and i definitely know the production process much better now. It's fuckin complicated to produce a bus can? Gosh~ Like thousands and thousands of parts! And that is even though the chassis comes into the factory fixed. Know what a chassis is? LOL~ Check it out! WaHaHa... I even know what a shaft is alright?!
Reached Rayong at 11.30am. Dilly-dally for bout 30 mins before i went out of the factory, which has only one pathetic and disgusting canteen ("beautiful" canteen as per Nuu), with the IT Dept people and had my lunch somewhere which takes us 10 mins when driving. Ate Thai's version of BCM ( bah cho mee ) and OMG!!! DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN SPICY!
I only managed to eat two mouthfuls before my tongue sent an emergency message to my brain to inform that the mechanisms in my body are gonna break down if i have just one more mouthful! WAH LAUZ! You cant imagine till you taste it!
I bet it'll be too spicy even for est-the-imp or DeaR deAr!
An amazing thing is, it doesnt appear red at all. Weird huh? Paew (IT Manager) said it's mainly pepper that makes it so spicy, not really chilli.
After lunch, i was brought to the dormitory which was like 100m away from the factory itself. About 90% of the staff who works in Rayong stays in the 2 dormitories which are roughly 50m from each other.
The dormitory is kinda like hostels in NTU. More run-down obviously! But the similar thing is... ...*drum rolls*... ... NO DAMN AIR CON! Gosh!~ It's THAILAND lehz! How to sleep without an aircon? Imagine i'm already getting mosquitoes bites when i'm in air-consitioned places, what the hell will happen if i sleep in a room with no air con and not even mosquitoes nets? HeLL lor... And you know what? The door cant be locked! And there were these damn cockroach or lizard eggs at one corner! White round ones. Eeks! And the damn thing is when i asked Paew to remove those freaky eggs for me, she said DONT! DONT BOTHER WITH THOSE CUTE EGGS! Wah lauz! MY DAMN GOD! What the hell???!!!
So, from the moment i stepped out of the "room", i contemplated inside my mind how the hell i'm gonna escape the "planned disaster". LOL~
Luckily i managed to "siam" away in the end, by working damn dilligently all the way from 1 to 7. I practically walled like 20 times around the whole BIG factory, tryig to find the managers i am supposed to talk to. There were also some chinese (nationality, not race hor) engineers, "instructors" (people assigned by china supplier to teach the local thais proper working procedures) and logistics staff.
I'm so so so damn grateful to Nuu. God knows when i can finish what i'm supposed to do if i were to be without him!

NiCe sunSeT @ Rayong. A piTy i WasNt iN a gD PoSitiOn tO CaPtuRe tHe ShoT.

FuckIN SPICY BCM!

A&W in thai is like BK in MY and sells cheese sticks too. But i didnt buy that though, because it was too expensive! About 3SGD for just 5 cheese sticks! What's in the pic are "chicken strips" from A&W! DAMN NICE WOR! Crispy on the outside and tender in the inside! 5 stars! Best chicken eaten in BKK so far. Too bad i dont have any A&W near my place. Only have KFC available.

MisS thE RooT beEr FLoaT?~

CurLy FriES!!!
