DAMN! I wanted to rent some DVDs to chill the night away, but it turned out that ALL shows are in thai! To think that they even have "Saving Face"! And it's only 10m away from my apartment! Arghh~
Dinner was KFC. I've gotta say that BK's KFC is so much better than SG's these days. If you've realized, the sizes of the chicken drumsticks in SG has shrunk DRASTICALLY. It's totally different in BK! Pieces of chicken remain as big apparently.
I took my first walk around the "neighbourhood" this evening. I think i'm in some kinda "textile street", similar to Arb Street in SG. There are numerous shops selling textiles, super big "rolls" of cloths. I even saw some with hellp kitty prints! LOL~ Many fruit stalls, chinese medical shops, clinics and food stalls may be found near here as well. Didn't take any photos during my walk, because i'll look "weird" snapping away. I guess i'll leave the photo-taking to when i'm about to leave.
For some unknown reasons, there were like a thousand mosquitoes in the office today. Within the first 30mins after i reached the workplace, i got like 6 fuckin big bites! Wau Lauz... Itchy diE me. Luckily satjapong has medicated oil with him and the oil helped me survived. Oh anyway, KFC cost me about 4 SGD after the upsize extra charge. The portion is rather huge, as opposed to most food served along the streets or in some ulu restaurants. I was full after eating the chicken breast alone, and didnt manage to finish the drumstick. I had my chicken spicy, and immediately regretted when i said "spicy please". It suddenly dawned upon me that since thais are so good at eating chilli and spicy stuffs, the chicken may be REALLY spicy. But in the end, they werent! Just nice in fact.
Things have been rather fine so far. So people, dont worry about me (that's if you are!)...
The only scary thing is that tuk tuks and cars and motorbikes are always like 10cm away from me when i walk along the streets. They dont really have pavements like in SG, so i've gotta be extra careful when i walk. And crossing the roads is sometimes a problem. The zebra crossings practically serve no purpose! Even the traffic lights are kinda useless, because when i walked "home" this evening, i saw this traffic police directing the traffic and blowing his whistle away in front of a working traffic light! WaHaHa!~ Why waste money constructing traffic lights man?!

See what 4 packets of Ketchup come up to? This wouldnt be the case in SG~

BIG packets of ketchup

Cardboard kinda packaging. It's really cardboard! As in brown, thick cardboard...

Dinner...

Something strange about the lift of the office building. There's this button which allows you to kinda "reboot" the lift system by pressing "NORMAL". When pressed down to the right "ESTOP", the lift stops at the particular level. The 3rd floor of the building houses another company, and the peope are so damn mean to always press the button and make the lift stay on their floor! And in the end, i have to walk down the stairs from the 5th floor to the 3rd to take the lift!

Zebra crossings that serve no purpose. I always have to RUN and DASH across!

Doggie is also trying to cross the road! HaHa~ This evening after work, i walked to a nearby pet shop to buy some dog snacks and fed some dogs in a salon! (Some dogs that one of my colleague feed everyday during the past years.) Some were really cute! But one was like damn scared of strangers larz! When i walked near her with the snack, she started to run away from me in the opp direction!~
