God damn it!I'm MERELY done with the hectic hours! Seems like i've been busy since 7am when i woke up this morning. What the hell kind of life is this? And i've still got mountains of readings to do to prepare for the law seminar tomorrow at 830. Gosh! I've gotta wake up at 0600 arghz!~
Damn damn damn!
Anyway, the
hectic-ness began a few hours ago at around 8 plus. I had just
naively thought that my day was coming to an end after i've went and left school, chilled out with shufen at Compass Point for 2 hours, and tutored for 4 hours in sengkang.
Then, to my
BIG surprise, a proposal which i've sent to my prof yesterday concerning a law assignment got
REJECTED! And guess what? My prof actually replied to my email early this afternoon at 1pm ( I checked my mailbox like 1000 times this morning during JAVA lab, hoping to see his reply), but i've unfortunately failed to read it in time because i was out the whole day!
Disappointment, anger and frustration almost
blasted my already-very-weak heart. (LOL~ What a description?!)
The formal proposal is to be submitted tomorrow at 0830 and i'm looking at the "REJECTED' sign less than 24 hours before the deadline! Try to figure how i felt.
Immediately, i engaged in a
SEVERE brainstorming session, and cracked my head over another new proposal. After looking through this and that and this and that, i finally decided to propose to work on the recent 2FA (second factor authentication) technology local banks have launched. Without delay, i wrote up another email proposing the new topic. And even after the mail was sent out, i was damn worried.
How the hell am i supposed to answer to prof tomorrow if i've yet to confirm my assignment topic?
WE ARE SUPPOSED TO take care of our own deadlines. Everything is noted down in black and white in course outlines, and nobody is responsible for reminding you that this deadline is nearing and that deadline is coming up. A real simulation of the business world huh? Whereby no one cares what and how and who and whatever associated with you. Sigh~
So the worried me immediately, upon sending the email in anxiety, switched to another window to handle all the administrative work relating to the coming PA ( If you're a regular reader, you'll know what PA refers to...hee~). Oh,
guess what?! I received a call from the school office this morning, asking me to participate in the PA program organised by NTU starting from tomorrow (
thus implying that my own-sourced Thailand PA may not be approved, cos the office told me last week, after hearing my narration of my own-sourced PA, that i do not have to participate in the school's program.). Sad!~
Anyway, i got down to all the form-filling. I hate to fill up forms! Really.
And so, i spent about an hour filling up forms which ask for so much unnecessary details! Seriously speaking, why would you (the potential hiring company) want to know each and every subject i've taken at the O levels and their respective grades when i'm already in NTU???!!! Isn't being in NTU an acknowledgement of my academic abilities?!
AND, if you would like to know
ALL the modules i took at Poly level, why not let me scan my transcript and mail it to you??? It's more than 25 modules u know?! And i have to keep pressing tabs to write the right info in the right text box! Damn user unfriendly!!!
AND, (not finished yet~) if you want to know my results in NTU, go ahead and request for a degree audit from the school!!! They freaking have it in their database!!! (Because i can view the data online.) You're in collaboration with my school, remember???!!!
WHY WHY WHY let me TYPE TYPE TYPE???!!!Phew~
I think i'm done. Good night, people.
